ASSISTANT, (NF-II), REG

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs administrative clerical
work in support of the Officers Club Complex. Utilizes computer software
programs such as Mircrosoft Work, Excel, Power Point, DoD and Air Force
specific and locally developed programs. Performs duties related to
the NAF accounting, budgeting and financial management activities. Retrieves
reprots, extracts and reviews data, checks for discrepancies, prepares
summaries, etc. Verifies the validity of documents received and issued.
Balances cash reports, reports averages and shortages, prepares deposits
and consolidated reprots, issues petty cash. Prepares, receives, issues
and safeguards change funds. Issues, controls and safeguards awards
certificates and gift certificates; Maintains membership records. Maintains
suspense files. Prepares correspondence, reports, forms, messages, memoranda,
statistical or tabular material. Reviews outgoing correspondence for
accuracy and conformance with applicable guidelines. Performs general
office duties such a receiving telephone calls, and visitors, routing
and filing correspondence, and maintaining files. Answers routine, non-technical
request for information such as status of reports, suspense dates and
similar readily available information. Schedules appointments and meetings
and coordinates with supervisor(s) as necessary. Respoinsible for records
management for the complex. Prepares routes and tracks a variety of
personnel and payroll related request. Establishes Supervisor's Record
of Employee (971) File. Provides orientation to new employees regarding
general club polocies and procedures. Responsible for local National
and NAF payroll in the absence of the Complex Payroll Clerk. Maintains
training records and schedules personnel for required training. Prepares
travel orders and travel vouchers for staff. Performs other duties as
assigned. Position is a position of trust. Works under the supervision
of the Officers Club Complex Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants ust have responsible clerical of office experience which
provided a basic knowledge of correspodence formats, grammer and spelling;
skills in researching problems, compiling data, and preparing, composing
and maintaining organized files. Experience must have demonstrated requirement
for rigorous attention to detail. Must be proficient in us of a computer
and have working knowledge of computer software programs to include
Microsoft Word Excel and Power Point. Completion of National Agency
Check with Inquiries (NACI) with satisfactory results is a condition
of employment
