NF- (Pay Banding) Pay Ranges
PAY BANDING: The NAF pay band system provides for six pay bands. Each pay band has a minimum and maximum salary. Employees are paid any salary within the pay band in which their position is classified. There are not Within Grad Increases in this system; pay adjustments are recommended based on employees’ performance.

NA- (Crafts and Trades) Pay Grades
PAY GRADES: The Crafts and Trades pay system includes positions in a recognized craft or trade; or in an unskilled, semiskilled, or skilled manual labor occupation. The NA pay schedule consists of 15 grades with five steps in each grade. New employees normally start at Step 1 and progress through the five steps upon completion of specific waiting periods.
